Roquio
is the name of a steam ferry boat which transported passengers between Nantes
and Trentemoult.
In the mid 19th Century, four men who are tired of their dull life on the
banks of the river Loire, decide to leave in search of adventure on a big
sailing ship.
They arrive in Nantes, discover the busy life of the port, and find a ship
to sail with. There follows a shipwreck, a rescue by an English ship, the
meeting with a friendly Irish cook, and finally their return to their home…
all of this related in music and songs of course…
